Is Lofi Space really free?
Yes. The free tier — menu-bar popover, full-screen launcher, every built-in scene — is free forever. Pro is a one-time $4.99 that adds the ambient mixer, auto-pause for calls, global hotkeys, and pinned downloads. No subscription, no account, no trial countdown.
What macOS version do I need?
macOS 14 Sonoma or later. The app ships as a Universal binary, so Apple Silicon and Intel Macs are both first-class.
Does auto-pause for calls need microphone permission?
No. The app uses macOS's per-process audio activity APIs — those are metadata-only and don't require mic access. Lofi Space never records, watches, or transmits anything.
Will tracks keep playing offline?
Yes. The player caches audio on disk with a budget you control (100 MB up to 5 GB). Pin any scene to lock its full track list past eviction.
Will there be more scenes?
Yes — new scenes ship in free updates as they're finished. Custom scenes from your own folders are on the roadmap too; for now the focus is keeping the built-ins polished.
How do refunds work?
